D.C. Women's March 2020
2020, the year that changed the lives of so many of us. We declared a global pandemic in response to the COVID-19 crisis, scared for our health and the health of our loved ones, we adapted to a new lifestyle. However, the passing of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg during the final months of former President Trump's term, left many women scared for her replacement. Justice Ginsburg led many efforts to ensure women had rights, and the thought of that being overturned scared many, in fact, thousands. Those thousands showed up on October 17th, 2020 gathering on the lawn of the Freedom Plaza and ready to march to the Supreme Court.
